Bill Glodich Honda was established by the late Bill & Minnie Glodich. When Mr. William V. Glodich left the Marine Corp in 1945, he came home to Zeigler, Illinois. There he helped his parents run a world famous restaurant called "Sams". In 1946, Mr. Glodich began his business in West Frankfort, Illinois, where it is still located. Mr. Glodich began in the auto business where he sold Desoto and Plymouth cars. In 1964, Mr. Glodich had the forsight to add an up and coming franchise to his already well established business. This franchise was HONDA. Mr Glodich continued in the car business until the gas crisis in the early 70's. At that time he eliminated the Plymouth car franchise and just stayed with Honda. Sixty Four years later their legacy is still being carried on by their children. Bill, Mark, Mike, Richard, Tim, Barbara,and Michelle.- - Their "5 sons and 2 Princesses".
